Strong local demand for renovation advice has prompted us to diversify into the renovations market and we’re excited to announce that we’ve officially launched a dedicated renovation arm – renovations by Kalka.

We now offer Queensland home owners an easy way to renovate by finding design inspiration from our in-house design team offering professional advice on floor plans and design, home interiors and exteriors as well as help choosing fixtures, fittings and finishes, to create the distinctive Kalka look.

As we expand our business we are proud to make the Kalka design aesthetic a growing part of Brisbane’s heritage,” said Kalka owner and founder Hugh Bridle.

“Since inception our mission has been to deliver functional floor plans, market leading design and high quality features and now we’re doing the same for anyone looking to renovate.

Renovations by Kalka will help people whether they’re looking at a large-scale renovation or simply looking to extend. The service includes specialist interior design advice at completion of the build from furniture selection to throws featuring our signature Scandinavian-inspired colour palettes.”

According to the HIA, Australia’s renovation market is the strongest it’s been since 2010*. The overall volume of renovations activity is anticipated to increase nationally from $31.38 billion in 2016 to $33.37 billion in 2019, an overall expansion of 6.3 per cent.

“There is increasing demand for Kalka design from the Brisbane community and we are excited to be able to provide the option to make the remodelling and design process of renovating, Kalka inspired,” said Bridle.

“We are constantly working to improve our business model to ensure our clients get the highest quality and best designed homes in the market place.

“Renovations by Kalka is a natural extension of our passion for creating homes of exceptional design and quality that embody the essence of Queensland living.”
